Project: A $31M expansion of Cumberland Community School will add a two-storey, 24,500 sf facility, including 16 new classrooms and a neighborhood learning centre with a commercial kitchen. The latest addition replaces the existing Annex Wing to accommodate growing student enrollment.

Stage: Trade tenders are currently open, with construction set to begin this summer. Phase 1 includes the demolition of Block 3 and relocation of a portable, while Phase 2 will commence in September 2025 with new construction. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027.

Project: This three-building townhouse development will add nine units on a .49-acre site. The project consists of a duplex, triplex, and fourplex, for seven two-bedroom and two three-bedroom units. The design incorporates on-site parking, bicycle storage with e-bike charging, green space, and a communal amenity area.

Stage: Construction is progressing from start-up to 50% completion. A building permit valued at $600K was issued in March 2025 for two initial units. The rezoning was approved in May 2024.
