WEST SHORE – The WestShore Chamber of Commerce is part of both formal and informal networks of chambers of commerce within BC and across the country. As a member of the BC Chamber of Commerce, we take part in initiatives which support local business on a wider stage than our immediate community, and promotion of one of these is taking place now!

In partnership with both the BC Chamber and Small Business BC, the WestShore Chamber is pleased to provide information on the Export Navigator program. Offering free expert guidance on exporting to BC-based businesses, export advisors are located throughout the province and are currently expanding in the Greater Victoria region. Eligible businesses will be matched with an advisor who knows the local business landscape, and will work directly with them.

The Export Navigator program is funded by the Government of British Columbia in partnership with Pacific Economic Development Canada and delivered through Small Business BC and Community Futures.

Wondering if your business is eligible? If your business is located in BC, and you are growth-oriented, the Export Navigator program is here to help you learn more about exporting your goods or services to another country, or to another province! The program is also committed to supporting underrepresented groups in business, including specialized support for businesses owned by Indigenous Peoples.

Interested in finding out more? Exportnavigator.ca has a wealth of information, including pages on “The Steps to Exporting,” “Free Exporting E-Courses,” and “Success Stories.” If you want to be matched with an advisor, you can click on the “Find an Advisor” button on the top right of the page. The short form asks for your contact details and to provide some information about your business – super quick and easy.

The Export Navigator program is just one of many initiatives we share out from the WestShore Chamber of Commerce. To learn more about us, please go to westshore.bc.ca and scroll down on our “Contact Us” page for all our social media icons, or to subscribe to our weekly e-news.
