DUNCAN – For a quarter of a century, the Webb name has been synonymous with quality craftsmanship, beautiful design, and a sincere commitment to community. Founded in the Cowichan Valley 25 years ago, Webbworld Developments Inc. president Charlie Webb, and his son and company director, Fynn, have rapidly become staples in the Island community thanks to the impeccable, unique homes they have built.

“The Webb approach to homebuilding is rooted in our strong family values and a desire to enhance the beauty of the communities we build in,” says Fynn Webb. “With a focus on using quality materials and mature landscaping, homes are built to stand the test of time, becoming legacy properties for generations to enjoy.”

Legacy has become a key theme in all Webbworld developments. With 25 years of experience, the Webb family has become an integral part of the Cowichan Valley’s fabric, building close relationships with clients and the community at large to foster happier, friendlier futures.

“Our team treats every client like a close friend, offering kindness and respect throughout the entire building process,” says Fynn. “This approach has led to lifelong friendships and contributed to our reputation for sincere and honest customer relations.”

The Cottages at Stonehaven Manor is one of Webb’s recent standout projects, an enchanting development that mimics English village charm with bright, modern interior designs. The stunning townhomes are surrounded by lush, mature landscaping and an abundance of flowers, creating a storybook-like setting in the highly desirable Vancouver Island community. This project exemplifies Webb’s unique ability to create not just homes but true communities that foster a sense of belonging.

“The Cottages development was built for 18 families and is all geared towards socializing and community, where residents know their neighbors and everyone helps out,” says Charlie Webb. “They garden together and picnic together, so it’s like a larger family.”

Webbworld has been modeling their developments this way for nearly 20 years.

“Our main clientele is retirement people, and we build homes that are perfectly designed for them,” Charlie says, adding that their newest project is King’s View in Maple Bay. “We’re building age-in-place retirement homes, where all the main living is on the main floor, and they have other areas of the house that are expandable. If there’s a second floor, it’s a bonus room for TV or guests. Or a walk-out basement.”

The age-in-place aspect only further contributes to the need for community investment. Things like parks, trails and playgrounds all contribute to a happier home, and the Webb team never underestimates the importance of these features. Webb’s portfolio also includes the construction of high-quality single-family homes across the Island and similar projects. No matter the scale of the task, the Webb family brings the same level of dedication and skill, ensuring the process is fun and stress-free for their clients.

“Building a home can be a stressful endeavor, but we are known for making the process enjoyable and stress-free, ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way,” says Fynn.

As the Webb family looks to the future, the company remains committed to its founding principles: family, quality, and community. With a strong foundation and a bright future, Webb will continue to leave its mark on the Cowichan Valley and beyond, one quality home at a time.

“We are proud that our attention to detail and commitment to quality have earned us a reputation as one of the region’s most trusted builders,” says Charlie. “We love this community and want to ensure our projects continue to compliment how incredible this place is.”
