BRITISH COLUMBIAITC Construction Group has acquired Vancouver Island-based Farmer Construction.

Founded in 1983, award winning ITC builds residential high-rises and mixed-use developments across the country. Farmer has built commercial, institutional and residential projects across the island since 1951.

“We’ve always believed in growing with purpose—and that means aligning ourselves with companies who share our commitment to excellence, client service, and people-first culture,” says Brad Burnett, President of ITC Construction Group. “Farmer Construction has a remarkable legacy, we are honoured to be able to support their mission and growth into the future.”

Farmer Construction will continue to operate with the same leadership and teams, ensuring continuity, while benefitting from added resources, support, and growth opportunities.

The acquisition marks an exciting milestone for ITC as it deepens its capacity to serve communities across the province and expands its reach into new markets. It reflects ITC’s continued commitment to thoughtful, sustainable growth and strengthens its presence across B.C.

A press release issued by ITC notes: “With Farmer Construction’s deep roots in the Vancouver Island market and over 70 years of construction experience, the partnership brings together two companies that share core values of quality, integrity, and community-building.”
