VICTORIA – A Vancouver Island Mercedes-Benz dealer is part of a new ownership group for all nine corporate-owned Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the Greater Toronto Area.
Dr. Sylvester Chuang, who owns and operates Mercedes-Benz Victoria and Mercedes-Benz Nanaimo, is the co-founder and chairman of the AWIN Group of Dealerships, which has joined forces with Zanchin Automotive Group to take ownership of what is known as the Toronto Retail Group by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
The AWIN Group of Dealerships currently represents 20 dealerships in total across Toronto, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Markham, Durham and Oakville.
The decision was made after a competitive bidding process, with Mercedes-Benz Canada selecting the AWIN/Zanchin group based on their collective track record of business success, histories of creating customer experiences and shared commitment to ongoing investments.
