CAMPBELL RIVER – The largest Indigenous-owned natural resource consulting firm in British Columbia has a new Chief Executive Officer.
Strategic Natural Resource Consultants (SNRC) has hired Domenico Iannidinardo as its CEO. With over 25 years of industry experience, Iannidinardo most recently served as Senior Vice President, Chief Forester and Chief Development Officer of Mosaic Forest Management, one of the largest forest companies and landowners in the province.
He is also the only person in Canada to concurrently hold accreditations of Professional Forester, Biologist and Engineer. Among other leadership roles, he was the founding chair of the Canadian Forest Owners and President of Couverdon Realty Ltd.
SNRC has over 150 employees and has offices in Campbell River, Nanaimo, Port McNeill, Prince George and Fort St. John.

Niels Jorgensen is SNRC’s co-founder and outgoing CEO, who will remain with the organization to spearhead specific projects such as wildfire and incident management, as well as assisting with the transition to new leadership.

SNRC was founded in 2003 and has grown to be the largest Indigenous-owned natural resource consulting firm in B.C. The company is 100 percent Canadian, with Ehattesaht Chinehkint First Nation as the majority shareholder, and employees own the balance of the shares.

Their projects include the Aat’uu Forestry Limited Partnership which does tenure management, multiphase development and operational support in Zeballos, the Galore Creek Mine Access Study for the Galore Creek Mining Corporation that is seeking to operate the Galore Mine 150 km northwest of Stewart, Louisiana Pacific and their multiphase timber development and cutting permit acquisition services in the Fort St. John Timber Supply Area, and assisting in the salvage of 58 containers damaged on the Zim Kingston container ship that experienced an onboard fire in the Juan de Fuca Strait in 2021.
