Camosun College Receives National Awards

VICTORIA Camosun College has been selected as the silver recipient of the 2023 Excellence in Global Engagement award by Colleges and Institutions Canada. This award recognizes Camosun’s commitment to fostering global awareness, cultural exchange, and student success through its innovative and impactful international programs and initiatives.

“The Excellence in Global Engagement Awards are an important part of our mission at CICan to celebrate and encourage internationalization in colleges and institutes across Canada, and we are proud to honor Camosun College for their exceptional work in this area,” says Denise Amyot, President and CEO of Colleges Institutes Canada. “Their commitment to providing students with opportunities to learn and grow through international experiences is truly inspiring.”

Camosun has a long-standing tradition of global engagement, offering students the opportunity to study abroad and engage in cross-cultural experiences.

The Excellence in Global Engagement award was presented at this year’s World Congress, held on April 24 in Montreal. Camosun looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of students and communities around the world through its commitment to international education and cultural exchange.
