SOUTH VANCOUVER ISLAND – Nominations are now open for the 2023 Capital Region Commercial Building Awards.
The event will take place on November 23rd at the Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria.
“We’re excited to build on the success of the 2022 event, which featured 58 Finalist projects competing for 14 different categories, and a completely sold out event of just over 250 South Island construction and development industry leaders,” says John MacDonald, Publisher of the Business Examiner News Group.
“This year we have added a new Architect of the Year category, and have some exciting announcements to be unveiled in the coming weeks.”
Last year’s Judge’s Choice award, for best overall project, went to the Tsawout Longhouse, a full list of the 2022 Finalist Projects is available here.
Eligible projects must be completed between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, and located in municipalities across South Vancouver Island.
There is no cost to nominate a project, Nomination Forms can be found here, and self-nominations are encouraged. The nomination deadline is October 27th, 2023. A group of independent judges from real estate related companies and organizations will adjudicate the entries prior to the event.
