NANAIMO – Finalists for the 23rd Annual Vancouver Island Business Excellence Awards, presented by TD, have been announced.
Winners across 18 categories will be named on February 6th during an awards gala at the Delta Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria.
118 organizations have been named as Finalists, from 405 nominated businesses from across the Island. A team of independent judges, including Kerry Brown, CEO & Co-Founder at Success Biz Coach and Chair at Mackay CEO Forums, Braden Wheatcroft, Director of Business Development and Broker Owner at RE/MAX Camosun, Derrold Norgaard, Partner, NKPG Services Ltd., and John Juricic, Owner / Consultant, Harbour Digital Media. will review the Finalist submissions to determine the category winners.
“We are very pleased to see so many impactful organizations named as Finalists this year,” says Business Examiner News Group Owner and Publisher John MacDonald, who coordinates the event. “2025 marks the largest number of nominations we’ve ever had, we couldn’t be more pleased to promote business excellence on Vancouver Island. New this year is the Enterprise of the Year category to create a more even playing field for larger organizations and reflect the growth of the event.”
TD has joined as the Title Sponsor for 2025, joined by Gold Sponsors Van Isle Windows, and the Nanaimo Airport.
Category Sponsors include: Doane Grant Thornton LLP, Chims Motel, Helijet, and the Alitis Investment Counsel. With more to be announced in the coming weeks.
