VIREB Podcast: August Home Sales Up From Last Year

NANAIMO – In his monthly video podcast, Jason Finlayson, the President of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB) reported that 439 homes sold last month across the Board’s coverage area, as compared to the 361 homes that had changed hands during August 2014. However home sales last month were down a full 15 percent from those recorded in July.

In addition Finlayson reports that the inventory of available properties is also down, by 17 percent when compared to the same time last year.
