NANAIMO – Morgan Carey, founder and CEO of Real Estate Webmasters, has been included in the 2017 Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) group for the third consecutive year.
“I’d like to thank my employees for this recognition. It may be my name on the list, but this is a victory for all of us,” said Carey. “Without my team’s hard work and support, this award would not have been possible.”
More than 150 people work at Real Estate Webmasters, which specializes in real estate websites. The web development company has major offices in Nanaimo and Vancouver.
The SP200 honors “the most powerful and influential leaders in residential real estate”. More than 3,000 nominees were submitted to the SP200, but only the top 200 leaders made it onto the final list.
Carey has been ranked #17 within the Technology Executives division, standing out as a leader in the global real estate’s technology sphere.
The SP200 power rankings look at a number of factors, including the nominee’s company and its present activities, as well as their anticipated future impact. After an extensive research process, the SP200 committee then ranks nominees based on their overall influence and prestige.
“The SP200 is based on a great deal of research. We scoured the web, read hundreds of bios and LinkedIn pages, sent hundreds of requests for additional information,” explained Stefan Swanepoel, of Swanepoel.com. “We invested over 600 hours of research and discussion into this year’s effort,” said Swanepoel.
Morgan Carey was also awarded an SP200 ranking in 2015 and 2016.
