NANAIMO – The Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Vancouver Island (CHBA-VI) has announced the winners for the 2016 VIBE Awards (Vancouver Island Building Excellence). The annual event showcases the best in residential construction, design and renovation on Vancouver Island and are recognized as Vancouver Island’s premier residential housing awards program.
The Awards gala was held at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre and MC’d by CTV’s Bruce Williams, with entertainment by Tidesman Barbershop Chorus and Vibrant Dance Studio.
A panel of industry professionals and longtime CHBA members from outside Vancouver Island judged the entries. The judges’ scores were tabulated by the accounting firm of MNP.
“The 2016 VIBE Gala celebrated the excellence in our industry.” said Kelsey Botting, CHBA-VI Executive Officer. “Thank you to all of the finalists and partners for your support! Congratulations to all of the winners!”
An awards program is also valuable for consumers. Award winning companies and finalists play an important role in helping consumers to differentiate between professionals and non-professionals. Companies who have entered a professional awards program are communicating clearly that they are a professional, committed to their business and proud to be part of the industry and the Association. Consumers can be confident in hiring a VIBE award winner or finalist company.
