Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive Celebrates Life Among the Vines

June 8, 2016

SUMMER LAND – Members of Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive are adding a fun component to their vines and orchards… music and story telling! To celebrate the grape growing season and life in the Okanagan living among the vines, the 19 winery and cidery members of the association will be open all weekend and will be offering tastings, music, and specials for guests visiting the wineries the weekend Saturday, June 11 and Sunday June 12.

“We are encouraging everyone to come out and experience the fun and energy of our members, as you hear each of their stories,” comments Christa-Lee McWatters Bond, President Bottleneck Drive Association. “Each member will be providing tastings, special promotions, and will also have live music during the afternoons.”

Visitors can pick up an exclusive Heard It Through The Grapevine Passport, available at participating members to complete for a chance to win a prize package valued at over $500.

Guests go on a self-guided tour (please ensure you have a designated driver) or book a guided wine tour by contacting one of the many wine tour companies in the Okanagan, and make a special request to tour Summerland for our Heard it Through the Grapevine weekend.
