SAHURI + Associates has over 20 years of experience with award-winning architectural design, project management, document co-ordination, and contract management. The firm has completed works for large-scale facilities such as recreation, healthcare and education, and countless other commercial and industrial areas like resorts, hospitality, and energy sector developments.

Today, the company continues to grow its foot-print in BC with its local presence in Kelowna and projects across the province.
“We are doing really well in British Columbia and we are looking forward to expanding that market. We are working through every area of BC including Vancouver, up to the most Northern part of the province and down to the farthest South,” said Sahuri.
“We are working on universities, energy companies, public works projects, city municipalities, and we are excited to continue to build on our diverse array of projects in the region.”
The company’s portfolio is varied and extensive but Sahuri has found that finding success is a product of listening to the fundamental, sometimes abstract human needs of society and bring-ing them to life.
“We are successful be-cause we are providing that human value, we listen to people and we listen to the community vision and create for each specific requirement,” said Sahuri. “In our work, there is no standard brand, we like to challenge traditional ideas of architecture and we aspire to inspire communities, to give them a structure of importance that they can be proud of, that they gravitate toward.”
When it comes to new opportunities in the industry, Sahuri notes the drastic changes happening in the world, and how they can impact buildings.
“It goes without saying that the biggest impact to building today is the environment and how we can shape our cities and towns for the future, how we design to the highest green building standards, how we plan to bring world emissions down – these are a challenge yes but also a huge opportunity for change, for growth,” said Sahuri.
“There is real social change happening, right now, and things like the pandemic and the mental health crisis have a resounding impact on how we see design, how we can shape and bring empathy to building, and how our structures can inspire people and our communities.”
