KELOWNA – Pushor Mitchell LLP is celebrating their 50th anniversary of providing exceptional legal services to clients throughout the Okanagan Valley and beyond this year.
Established in November, 1973, the law firm has earned a reputation for excellence, integrity and commitment to the community, and has become a trusted legal resource for individuals, families and businesses alike.
The firm opened with humble beginnings with a team of two lawyers. The original firm was named Gilhooly Harder, and was located on Leon Street in downtown Kelowna. Rick Pushor, whose name is still on the company name, joined the practice in 1974 and retired in 2013, and Paul Mitchell, who joined in 1979, is still a Partner. The firm went through a total of nine name changes as partners joined or departed, before adopting its current name, Pushor Mitchell LLP, in 1997. Their office has been in its current location at 1665 Ellis Street since 1991.
Today, Pushor Mitchell is a full-service law firm with a team of 37 experienced lawyers plus over 100 support staff who are dedicated to upholding the firm’s values and delivering outstanding legal services. The company offers service in more than 2 5 practice areas, including business law, employment, immigration, wills and estates, estate litigation, family law, real estate, First Nations, commercial litigation and much more.
