KELOWNA – Nominations are now open for the 2025 Thompson Okanagan Commercial Building Awards. The event will take place on October 15th at the Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna.
“We’re elated to help celebrate and promote the top commercial real estate projects and developers across the region,” says John MacDonald, Publisher of the Business Examiner News Group.
“This years’ event builds off of the success of the Awards in 2024, as we have noted a record number of eligible projects completed over the past 18 months,” he adds
“We’re also excited to announce Green Sheet Construction Data adding their support to this event as a Media Sponsor. Additional event supporters will be announced in the coming weeks.”
Eligible projects must be completed between January 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025 and located in one of the following regions: Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, Lake Country, Kamloops, Vernon, Coldstream, Salmon Arm, Penticton, Summerland, Oliver, Osoyoos, Columbia Shuswap Regional District, North Okanagan Regional District, or the Thompson Nicola Regional District.

The nomination deadline is August 29, 2025. A group of independent judges from real estate related companies and organizations will adjudicate the entries prior to the event.

There will also be a Judges’ Choice Award for the Best Overall entry.
Individual tickets to the awards are $249 plus GST, while tables of 8 are $1,500. Organizers expect this to sell out quickly. Tickets can be purchased here.
