VERNON – The Greater Vernon Chamber’s 2021-22 board of directors is ready to move the organization forward and to provide a strong voice for business and the North Okanagan.
During a virtual annual general meeting Sept. 15, Robin Cardew was confirmed to a one-year term as president while a board of returning and new directors was endorsed for a one-year term.
“Our volunteer board of directors represents the broad spectrum of our membership and the goal is to foster entrepreneurial spirit and to encourage a vibrant economy,” said Cardew, who owns Robin Cardew Chartered Professional Accountant.
“The Greater Vernon Chamber has been advocating for businesses and non-profits since 1897 and our new board of directors will carry on that proud legacy of commitment to the community. I look forward to working with this team during the upcoming year.”
Along with Cardew, the 2021/22 board of directors includes:
