Dean Brackenbury

Dean Brackenbury is the new General Manager & Partner of Bannister GM Salmon Arm.

A $4.2 million loan is set to be taken out by the City of Salmon Arm in order to replace the pump station at Canoe Beach.

The Salmon Arm council approved a plan to increase the pay of paid on-call firemen in the city by $1.50 per hour in 2024, and by another $1 per hour in 2025 and 2026, with a unanimous vote at their meeting on May 27.

Pino Pucci

Pino Pucci has been named Tolko’s new CEO and president.

Patti Bridal, the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Vernon, will be retiring this year.

The bike park at SilverStar Mountain Resort will open early for the summer on June 15 and 16, in celebration of its 30th anniversary.

The Sunshine Festival, which is organized by the Downtown Vernon Association, will be held on Saturday, June 15, for the 30th consecutive year on 30th Avenue.

The Nixon Hospitality Group is currently renovating the former Finning facility on Kalamalka Lake Road, which will house BNA Brewing’s new location. The building will feature a major dining establishment and craft brewery on site.
