KELOWNA – After a delay due to the summer fire events, the fifth annual End Summer Hunger is on!
Once again our friends at Scotiabank are volunteering and supporting our work with the most vulnerable and food insecure in our community. Scotiabank volunteers will be on location at two Save-On-Food locations this Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 collecting food and monetary donations for The Salvation Army’s Community Life Centre food bank.
Save-On-Foods in Orchard Plaza, 1876 Cooper Rd. and Save-On-Foods @ 3175 Lakeshore Rd. will be hosting this event from 11:00am – 5:00pm.
Funds raised at this event have the potential to be doubled so please come on down and support these efforts to End Summer Hunger!
While the Summer season may be behind us, the needs in our community continue. To learn more about opportunities to volunteer and/or how to support our programs in other ways, please go to www.kelownasalvationarmy.ca.
