KELOWNA – Budget BC 2026 tabled on February 17 contains numerous changes to provincial tax laws. Impacts of each shift continue to be assessed by businesspeople in Kelowna – the Kelowna Chamber is hosting a panel discussion with Q&A on Tuesday March 24 to assist understanding of the new taxes.
Businesses that provide these services will need to register to collect and remit PST.
- Accounting services, including bookkeeping and assurance services
- Architectural services
- Engineering and geoscience services
- Non-residential real estate services, including trading services, rental property management services and strata management services
- Security services, including private investigation services

We’ll also examine ramifications of the recent land claim decisions and impacts on property ownership.
