KAMLOOPSKamloops Truss is committed to innovation and sustainability within the construction industry.

“We’re constantly exploring new products and services that not only meet but exceed our clients’ expectations,” says Ryan Lodermeier, founded the company in 2004 and welcomed Rikki Paquette as a partner in 2021. “This year also marks an important milestone for us, celebrating 20 years of service in the industry, symbolizing our long-standing dedication and the trust we’ve built with our clients.”

Rikki adds: “We continue to advocate for quality products in our industry and we are honoured to have been a part of the WWTA quality control program for 20 years.”

Ryan and Rikki oversee the strategic direction and some day-to-day operations along-side the senior leadership team. Together, their responsibilities cover everything from business development and client relations, to expansion and innovation within their product lines.

“We are dedicated to building a brand that stands for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction under our engineered wood specialists’ umbrella,” says Ryan. “Our new Executive Director is leading a team of highly motivated projects managers to assist our clients in navigating the ever changing market demands.

Rikki adds that Kamloops Truss focuses on the structure of the build.

“To us, the most important element to en-sure quality and safety, and prevent costly repairs in the future is ‘good bones’. You can change your counters or your flooring but you can’t fix a bouncy floor or sagging roof.

“Our designers work to optimize designs for efficient installations to make a framers’ job safer and more efficient. Who wants to install a bunch of unnecessary web bracing?”

Ryan states they take great pride in their business, but also the fact they are part of something bigger.

“We’re a community all in itself of 80-plus employees who work and play together as well as work to serve our community with joint ventures in non-profit supports,” he says.

Kamloops Truss’ most successful products include their engineered truss and floor systems, beams, metal roofing and more.

“Our products are popular due to their customizability, efficiency and the ability to meet specific architectural needs within many budgets,” notes Rikki. “Our customers value the precision and reliability our solutions offer, which are critical in both residential and commercial construction projects.

“We continuously invest in technology and a skilled team to ensure each product is managed, designed and manufactured properly.”

Kamloops Truss has achieved COR certification, which assists them in reducing turnover rates through a volatile employment market using internal resources and focusing on culture, employee wealth management, training, internal advancement options, management support and improved communications.

“We continue to see business growth and development within our teams who are continuously striving for improvements in our products and services,” says Ryan. “We’ve turned our focus to simplifying our processes and doing what we do best – manufacture and supply engineered wood products.”

Kamloops Truss is now also offering timber packages! Post and Beam, Trusses and Architectural Details.

Rikki believes the key to Kamloops Truss’ success in its unwavering commitment to quality, its innovative approach to solving construction challenges, and the strong relationships they’ve build with customers and partners.

“Staying ahead of industry trends and investing in our team’s continuous learning and development have also been pivotal,” he adds. “Our success is not just measured by our growth but by the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers, who trust us to be part of their most important projects.”
