KAMLOOPS – Progressive Planet Solutions Inc., an innovator in CleanTech solutions for the environment, has announced the acquisition of a new 5-year permit for the Bromley Creek zeolite quarry, in collaboration with International Zeolite Corp (IZ). This milestone comes in conjunction with Progressive Planet’s existing option agreement to acquire a 50 per cent interest in IZ’s Bromley Creek claims, mine lease, and quarry situated in Princeton, BC. As the operator of Bromley Creek, Progressive Planet currently holds a 20 per cent share, having fulfilled the latest quarterly installment payment of $31,150 in September 2023.
“Zeolite from Bromley Creek is becoming a larger part of operations quarter by quarter,” said Progressive Planet President Steve Gurney. Gurney further noted, “We remain focused on growing existing zeolite operations, especially in the cement and agriculture industries. The approved 5-year permit allows us to grow zeolite operations through 2028, and we are also exploring increasing the permitted maximum annual extraction of 20,000 tonnes to allow for further growth.”

Bromley Creek zeolite has earned certification from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for use as a flowing/anti-caking agent, marketed under the brand Z-Lite™ feed additive. Additionally, the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) has included Bromley Creek zeolite in its listing for use in organic operations, branded as The Green Patch™ Natural Zeolite Soil Conditioner.
