ASSOCIATION OF INTERIOR REALTORS® WELCOMES NEW PRESIDENT AND DIRECTORS

May 7, 2026

Ryan Mayne is the new President of the Association of Interior Realtors

KELOWNA – The Association of Interior REALTORS® is pleased to announce that Ryan Mayne, a Kelowna-based REALTOR®, has been elected President of the Association.

Mayne will lead a Board of Directors composed of industry professionals and a public director, succeeding Kadin Rainville, who will continue to serve in the role of Past President.

“It’s an honour to step into this role and represent our members across the Interior,” says Mayne. “Our industry is evolving quickly, and I’m committed to ensuring REALTORS® are supported with the tools, advocacy, and leadership needed to navigate a changing market while continuing to deliver value to the public.”

With extensive experience in residential development, project marketing, and market analytics in the Central Okanagan, Mayne brings a practical, data-driven perspective to the role. His family has been active in the real estate community since 1972, providing him with a deep-rooted understanding of the industry and its evolution over time.

“My focus is simple — support our members, strengthen professionalism, and ensure we continue to build trust with the communities we serve,” Mayne adds. “There’s a real opportunity ahead for our Association to lead through collaboration, innovation, and strong governance.”

Mayne has been actively involved in the Association, previously serving as Vice President and contributing to key initiatives supporting member engagement and industry standards. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, transparency, and forward-thinking decision-making. Gavin Thomas succeeds Mayne in the role of Vice President.

Mayne, Thomas and Rainville are joined by REALTOR® Directors Tracy Danbrook, Ken Davreux, Amy Essington, Chantal Kowalski, Kristie Kruger, Lindsay Kellosalmi, Lorene MacGregor and Lisa Moonie, as well as Public Director Ben Calderisi.

The new Board of Directors took office effective April 10th and supports the work of approximately 2,600 Interior BC REALTORS®, which, in turn, offer protection and peace of mind for local real estate consumers.
