It was during its AGM and Policy Session that the Chamber welcomed incoming President, Kate Stebbings of Trans Mountain, and members voted in favour of an inclusive name change to officially become the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce.

“We see economic recovery on this side of the pandemic as opportunity and I look forward to working alongside the membership that we serve to not only rebuild our economy, but to build back an economy that is inclusive and accessible where all can prosper,” said Kate Stebbings, Chamber Board President.

“Inclusivity is one of our core values at the Chamber. We represent many businesses who wanted our name to be a reflection of the wide variety of members that we serve throughout the TNRD region” says Acacia Pangilinan, Executive Director for the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce.
