SURREY – The Options Community Services Habitat @ 81st building of Surrey was named the Judges’ Choice Best Overall Entry in the Sixth Annual Freedom Capital Fraser Valley Commercial Building Awards Thursday night at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel.

The Options project also won the Affordable Housing category in the event, which celebrated the best in commercial, industrial and revenue producing properties, with 41 properties represented between White Rock and Chilliwack, including Harrison Hot Springs, Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Abbotsford, Langley, Surrey and Delta completed between December 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.

Options Community Serviced embarked on a transformative housing project with the construction of a six-storey mixed-use building at 13583 81st Ave, Surrey. This innovative development was designed to enhance the organization’s mission by providing much-needed affordable housing while integrating community services in a central, accessible location.
