In February, 1,235 transactions were recorded on the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board‘s Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®). This was a 32 per cent increase from January, but it was still 21 per cent lower than the region’s sales average over the past decade. February saw 2,797 new listings, an increase of 18 per cent from January and 4 per cent higher than the 10-year average. Active listings increased by 14 per cent from January to February and by 26 per cent from February 2023, reaching 5,561. Overall, the market is trending toward a seller’s market, with a sales-to-active listings ratio of 22 per cent. Once the ratio reaches twelve percent, the market is deemed balanced.
