DELTA – Walker House, a prominent North Delta residential development and the first high-rise by BMG Real Estate, located at the corner of 120th Street and Scott Road has begun construction.
Substantive changes that will address development community concerns and support the secondary suites program were recently approved by the Delta council to the Subdivision and Development Standards Bylaw, with the goals of further increasing review efficiency and decreasing processing times.
The expanded childcare facility at Boundary Bay Montessori School (BBMS), renowned for its child-centered approach and emphasis on self-reliance, is scheduled to commence operations in September 2024. This development will provide 40 additional spaces for children.
A second artificial turf playing field, large enough to accommodate a full-size soccer pitch and high school-rules football field, is scheduled to be installed at Mackie Park in North Delta. The field is expected to be operational by March 2025.
