Delta Liberal MP Carla Qualtrough has announced her resignation after a decade in politics.

A revised Tsawwassen condo construction application at 1219 Hunter Road, which consists of 68 units in a six-story building with an earlier approved concept, has received final approval from Delta Council.

Ron Toigo‘s Shato Holdings received final approval from the Delta Council to construct two 157-unit condo towers on a property at 6115 Highway 17A, close to the intersection of Highways 99 and 17A. 

This summer, the Collective Markets—the same people behind the popular Ladner Village Market—will launch a second market in North Delta, this one in the North Delta Recreation Centre parking lot that fronts 84th Avenue and the Social Heart Plaza.

 Surrey Board of Trade has announced the appointment of Joslyn Young as their new Chief Executive Officer, effective March 31, 2025. Ms. Young will also serve as the Acting Executive Director of the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce until the Federal Government approves the merger of the two organizations. Upon completion of the merger, Joslyn Young will assume the role of CEO of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade.

The new stacked five arena complex at the Langley Events Centre is taking shape as wall structures are going up at the site. Walls around the main arena at the west end of the project will eventually surround a rink with 1,000 seats, as well as suites above the ice. Two other ice sheets and two dry floors above the main ice surface will each have about 350 seats.
