DELTA
Plans for a new plant that will produce 20,000 tons of battery-grade lithium annually, including the first electrochemical lithium refinery, were announced by Mangrove Lithium. The project is now being built in Delta, and is anticipated to be operational by the end of the year.

The $3.5 billion Roberts Bank Port 2 project has advanced significantly as the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has formally begun the search for a contractor to build the new marine port planned for Delta.
The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and Wallenius Wilhelmsen announced the completion of the terminal upgrades as part of the Annacis Auto Terminal Optimization Project in Delta. Construction, which began in 2022, involved consolidating two existing automobile terminals—Annacis Auto Terminal and Richmond Auto Terminal—into a single facility at the Annacis Auto Terminal.

The Fraser Valley British Motor Club‘s annual Fraser Valley Classic Car Show at the UFV Chilliwack Campus on June 8 brought in $18,596.73 in proceeds.
