DELTA
The Century Group Lands Corporation has filed an application to replace the existing one-storey mall, with a public consultation set for the significant redevelopment of the Tsawwassen Town Centre.
On January 20, the Delta City Council will deliberate a zoning bylaw amendment that would permit local company owners to keep their commercial vehicles at their residences.
The consultation for the updated proposed development, which would include a new six-story structure named The Park at 5360 12th Ave. and 1146, 1156, and 1170 53A St., has just concluded. According to the rezoning, subdivision, and development permission, there would be 156 parking places for cars, 67 condo units (but no lock-off units), and ground-level commercial space.
The Delta City Council will review an application for additional housing units on a residential lot, exceeding the limits set by Delta’s new Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing rules. The proposal involves redeveloping the property at 6525 3rd Ave. into a 12-unit residential development.

Maple Ridge city council has examined a Yennadon development plan featuring 14 apartments on the upper two levels, along with childcare facilities on the ground floor. A new three-story building is set to be constructed at 12834-232nd Street, located between Yennadon Elementary School to the north and Petro-Canada to the south. Surrey’s Bassi Management is set to develop two- and three-bedroom homes featuring rooftop tables and barbecues. Four units are set to be rented out.
