PENTICTON – The Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the newly elected Board of Directors for 2024-2025. The 2024 Annual General Meeting was held on March 12th, 2024 at Wings in Penticton. With 6 Directors returning for their second year of a two-year term, an election took place to fill the remaining 8 seats.

“Congratulations to all of those elected to the Board, and thank you for everyone who put their name forward,” said Nicole Clark, who will now be moving into the Immediate Past President role. “I have no doubt that they are going to enjoy their time strengthening Penticton’s business community through advocacy, networking, and education.”

The 8 newly appointed Directors are:
Dan Arbeau (incumbent), Owner of NetDNA Technology Solutions Inc.;
Tanya Behardien, Executive Director at OneSky Community Resources;
Janine Cumberland (incumbent), Owner of Enchanted Florist;
Cherry FernandezSouth Okanagan Immigrant and Community Services (SOICS);
Kori Iceton, Co-Owner of The Hub on Martin
Ian Lindsay, CEO of the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation;
Pius Omene, Associate at FH&P Lawyers LLP; and
Shane Squires, General Manager of Cascades Casino.

They join the current Directors who move into their second of a two-year term, including:
Dale Cory of Skaha Ford;
Rohan Katyal of RBC Royal Bank;
Jordan Knox of Penticton’s RONA;
Harpreet Sidhu of HEK Yeah Media;
Marlene Trenholm of Partner Co – Health and Wellness; and
Sarah Tucker of Graphically Hip.

The Chamber would also like to thank the following outgoing Directors for their contributions:
Lyndie Hill of Hoodoo Adventure Company;
Jonathan McGraw of Jonathan W. McGraw Inc.;
Katie O’Kell of Serendipity Winery Ltd; and
Linda Sankey of the SOS Brain Injury Society.

A special thank-you to Mayor Julius Bloomfield for leading the ‘Oath of Office’ ceremony for the Chamber’s newly elected Directors.
