CIty Publishes 2023 Annual Report

PRINCE GEORGE – The City of Prince George has published its 2023 Annual Report. The report is available for public comment on the City’s website and at City Hall until noon on June 24, 2024.

The Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of the City’s initiatives accomplished in 2023, detailed audited financial statements, and activities planned for the coming year that align with the Council’s strategic priorities.

CN Centre Celebrates 30 Years

PRINCE GEORGE –The CN Centre, a cornerstone of entertainment in Prince George, is kicking off its 30th anniversary in 2025 in grand style. To mark this milestone, the CN Centre is thrilled to share how this celebratory year will be kicked-off!

The mystery show will be unveiled as part of a 30th anniversary kickoff event at 2 pm on Monday, June 17, at the CN Centre.

City Of Williams Lake Council Highlights – June 11, 2024

WILLIAMS LAKE – Council supported an application from the Social Planning Council/Central Cariboo Food Hub to Northern Development Initiative Trust for funding toward their Online Presence marketing and awareness campaign.

Through a partnership with the City, the SPC developed a Community Food Hub project, which works to connect and support stakeholders and partners for local food producers and to build a network to support the agricultural community in the Central Cariboo area. In providing their support, Council said it’s proud to support local producers and the local economy.

Healthcare Workes Shop Fort St John To Win

FORT ST JOHN – The City of Fort St. John, in partnership with the Mayor’s Standing Committee on Community Economic Development, is excited to announce the launch of a Shop Local Campaign just for healthcare industry workers. This local economic development initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the efforts of our local healthcare workers and support local businesses in our community.

Community Enhancement Grant Application Intake

 

PRINCE RUPERT – The City of Prince Rupert grants financial assistance (cash and ‘in kind’) to various Non-profit/Volunteer Community Groups through the Community Enhancement Grant process.

If your group would like to be considered for funding through the 2025 Community Enhancement Grants Program, you must submit a completed Community Enhancement Grant Application form.  The application form can be obtained from Administration at City Hall, 424-3rd Avenue West between the hours of 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday or alternatively downloaded online.

2024 CarCareerBC Grant Application Window Open

BRITISH COLUMBIA – On June 1st, the CarCareerBC Grant application process for 2024 officially opened. This initiative is a shining example of our sector’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of automotive professionals in British Columbia. The CarCareerBC Grant exists to assist aspiring workers and students en route to their careers in the automotive industry — a field brimming with innovation and opportunities.
