PRINCE GEORGE – Mike Godfrey, Prince George resident and heavy-duty mechanic is the newest member of Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centre team.
The Prince George Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centre is located at 1795 Victoria Street in Prince George, where customers can shop or do errands while Mike and his team take care of their vehicles.
Mike has an extensive background working on vehicles, “Since I was eight years old I remember helping my Dad bleed the brakes in our carport. I was always the guy my friends would come to, to fix their cars.”
Twelve years ago, Mike began his career as a heavy-duty mechanic, “I got into heavy-duty mechanics because I loved working on cars. Now I’m excited to be getting back into the automotive world again.”
As a dedicated husband and father of three, Mike has a love for the environment and community of Prince George, “Maybe it’s because we have seven months of winter, I don’t know, but we’re always there to help our neighbours and our neighbours are always there to help out. I wouldn’t ever want to leave (Prince George).”
With existing shops in the BC interior, in Kamloops, and Okanagan, The new Prince George location will have the distinction of being Budget’s most northern location.
