COMOX VALLEY – The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of the Municipal Business Initiative Survey, an essential component of our Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program. This survey is designed to gather invaluable insights from businesses and non-profit organizations operating in Courtenay and Comox, helping to shape strategies that foster economic growth and resilience in these communities. The survey is open until November 18.

“Local businesses and organizations are the backbone of our economy, and their input is critical to creating an environment where they can thrive,” says Tracey Clarke, Executive Director of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Through the Municipal Business Initiative, we’re committed to identifying and addressing the unique needs of Courtenay and Comox. This survey is a vital opportunity for business owners and non-profits to share the challenges they face and the opportunities they see.”

The survey covers topics including market expansion, workforce development, and access to business support services. By participating, businesses and organizations in Courtenay and Comox will play a direct role in shaping the future of economic development in their communities, ensuring that the Chamber can implement initiatives that truly benefit them.

To encourage participation, the Chamber is offering an exciting incentive: everyone who completes the survey will be entered to win one of three prizes: two local business gift cards, valued at $300 and $200, along with a one-year Chamber membership.

The survey is available online at www.comoxvalleychamber.com under “special projects”. It only takes a few minutes to complete, and each response provides essential data that will drive the Chamber’s initiatives moving forward.

The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce has been an advocate for the local business community for over a century. As part of our BRE program, this survey will enable us to identify trends, address key areas of concern, and develop programs that support sustainable business practices in Courtenay and Comox.

Don’t miss this chance to make a difference. Take the survey today and help build a stronger, more resilient business community in Courtenay and Comox.
