WESTSHORE – The WestShore Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be offering a brand-new program for women who have been in business three or more years, building on the success of a comparable program delivered up island in 2023-24. Starting in September, the Business Breakthrough Blueprint is a 3-hours per month, 10-month program that supports established female entrepreneurs to achieve business success through personal growth. It will run from September 2024-June 2025.

Emerging research indicates that the keys to business success in the future will not be strategy, money, or the best product or service. They will be emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience. The Business Breakthrough Blueprint will take participants through a series of deep dives into these key growth areas at each monthly session.

The program will be led and facilitated by Ingrid Vaughan of My Smart HR, whose Smart Leadership Academy has led to transformational change for managers, leaders, and whole organizations. This supportive, cohort-based learning opportunity is for a maximum of 10 people to ensure that everyone truly has a personalized, collaborative experience. You can go to either of our events calendars at westshore.bc.ca to find out more, or give me a call at 250-478-1130. The registration deadline is September 9 but if you’re interested don’t wait – this program is filling up!

Also in September, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce is offering its Women in Business Summit to coincide with Canada’s Gender Equality Week. The Chamber invites you to “elevate your business strategies and drive real change…with the 2024 Women in Business Summit Series. Join us for three 90-minute sessions packed with insights and actionable strategies to advance gender equality in your organization.” This Summit takes place between September 24-26, and you can go to chamber.ca to find out more.

The WestShore Chamber of Commerce provides support and services for those doing business in Colwood, the Highlands, Langford, Metchosin and View Royal…and beyond!
