SALMON ARM – While we are in the midst of a summer heat wave, the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to the coolness of fall and gearing up for an eventful and engaging few months. Our calendar is filling up with events designed to enrich our community and support our local businesses. Here’s a sneak peek at what we have in store.
All Candidates Forum: Your Voice Matters
Kicking off our fall events is the All Candidates Forum for the provincial election. Scheduled for September, this forum will be an invaluable opportunity to hear directly from the candidates vying to represent our electoral area. Engage in the democratic process, ask questions, and learn about the policies that will shape our future. Stay tuned for the exact date and format, which will be announced soon!
2024 Business Forum: Collaborating for Success
In collaboration with the Salmon Arm Economic Development Society, Community Futures Shuswap and Shuswap Economic Development Society, we are looking forward to co-hosting the 2024 Business Forum on October 30th at Song Sparrow Hall. This event is set to be a cornerstone for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in our region. With tickets going on sale in early August, make sure to secure your spot for a day of networking, learning, and growth.
Business Excellence Awards: Celebrating Our Community
After a long hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Business Excellence Awards on November 22nd. This gala event will shine a spotlight on the outstanding businesses and individuals that make Salmon Arm such a vibrant place to live, work, and play. The sponsorship package will be available at the end of July, and nominations will open in September. It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our local business community.
