Their 70+ members include municipal and First Nations governments, post-secondaries and industry associations, Chamber of Commerce and NGOs, and many of the region’s major employers.
In 2020, as part of their work supporting the region’s recovery efforts during the pandemic, SIPP launched the Rising Economy Conference. The annual event has since welcomed more than 2,500 attendees in deep exploration of key business and economic topics.
As SIPP’s flagship future-defining conference, Rising Economy brings together compelling local and national experts and thought leaders to help businesses understand and prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
From small business owners to CEOs, managers, community leaders and policymakers, Rising Economy attracts dynamic people interested in shaping their organizations to meet the challenges and opportunities of Greater Victoria’s future.
