CANADA – In his monthly video podcast Gregory Klump, the Chief Economist with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) reported that nationally home sales across the country in October climbed two percent from September. This rise was driven primarily by energized sales figures in the Lower Mainland and in the greater Toronto area.
He went on to say the increase marked the second highest level of activity in nearly six years. Home prices across the country also continue to rise. Klump said Multiple Listing Service (MLS®) stats show that the average home sales price last month was up a full seven percent from figures recorded a year ago.
