Think Local First: Our AGM – No Ordinary Meeting

– Think Local First is a non-profit society directed by a group of enthusiastic volunteers who are all small business owners in Greater Victoria. Gayle Robinson, author of this article, is the organizatin’s President and owner of Robinson’s Outdoor Store.

GREATER VICTORIA – Think Local First is having their 5th AGM on Tuesday 18 April from 6-9 pm at the Atrium. Don’t let the term ‘AGM’ influence you, this isn’t your ordinary meeting! Our Presenting Sponsor, Peninsula Co-op, is helping us to make it a special evening.

Three of our member businesses will be sharing their best business success tips: Wilson’s TransportationJohn Wilson; Brown’s the FloristNatasha Crawford and Il TerrazzoShellie Gudgeon.

We’ll be featuring Chef Mike from Country Grocer, Red Barn Market smoked meats and cheeses, appetizers from PiCNiC, desserts from Dutch Bakery, beer and cider from Spinnakers, wine from de Vine Vineyards and hot beverages from Oughtred Coffee & Tea.
